during my stay, I really appreciated how close the park was for lovely strolls and I found the nearby Oswestry Town Museum interesting for a quick cultural fix, making this a great base for exploring the area on foot.

The staff at Ye Old Boote Inn were incredibly welcoming, particularly James, who went out of his way to assist us. The room was comfortable with nice amenities like a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Plus, the atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly, and the home-cooked breakfast was delicious!
The shower temperature was a bit tricky.

Request a late-night cheese board from the staff. it adds a delightful touch to your evening.

missingWrote a review on 05 Novspacious roomdouble glazinggood sizebusy location
The room size delivered good space for a couple. The secondary double glazing helped reduce noise from the busy road, although it needed to be open for comfort.
Location is closer to a hectic road junction, making the overall atmosphere a bit turbulent. The absence of hair dryers in individual rooms was inconvenient, especially when sharing one on the landing with multiple rooms. The meals lacked consistency—steaks served with undercooked chips cast a shadow over an otherwise decent dining experience. Unfortunately, cleanliness issues in the toilet area, like unclean cups and splashback remnants, could use attention to avoid leaving an unfavorable impression.

For families seeking a cozy stay
The staff were hospitable, particularly James, the manager, who went above and beyond to assist with our queries. My father and uncle were exhausted after their visit but the barman was thoughtful, offering them a late-night cheese board and apple pie, which really made their stay that much more special.
It wasn't inexpensive, but it was still reasonable for the quality provided.

The dinner was quite nice.
I encountered significant issues during my stay. checking out was a nightmare. there was no one around until 8:00 am, and I had to rummage around just to find someone to assist me. The room was far from clean, with a dirty shower curtain and no attention to detail from the housekeeping staff.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our one-night stay in a cozy standard twin room. The atmosphere was inviting, but the coffee could use some improvement. A fan would enhance comfort on warm nights. Be sure to check the shower before stepping in for a pleasant experience!
